Program Description

Body

Second in a three-part series discussing how whole-food plant-based eating can prevent, manage, and reverse lifestyle-related diseases presented by Heartland Rooted Quad Cities

The Doctor is in the Kitchen

Cheryl True, MD DipABLM, FACLM

Last week we discussed the WHY, this week we will focus on the HOW. Adopting a healthy diet focused on plant-based foods might sound challenging, but it can be easier than you think! This session will provide a demonstration of several plant-based recipes, discuss cooking and preparation techniques, and play with some gadgets and appliances that might help speed up the process. We will have copies of recipes that you can take home and samples to enjoy.
