Join meditation teacher and clinical therapist Evan Harris for this session on the foundations of meditation. Millions practice meditation every day for mental and physical well being, and its benefits have now been thoroughly proven by modern science. In this session expect to define meditation, identify a few of its most common techniques, and understand its remarkable benefits. We will practice meditation in its simplest and most approachable forms. In addition to learning about and experiencing meditation directly, participants will learn the best ways to set up an ongoing meditation practice for themselves.
