Program Description

Body

The Moline Public Library is looking for veterans to contribute their stories to the Illinois Veterans’ History Project. This project was launched by Secretary of
State Jesse White to create a permanent record of the names and stories of Illinois war veterans and civilians who served our state and country during war,
so that their contributions will not be forgotten. Veterans who live in or have lived in Illinois are eligible to participate.

Interviews will be held at the library May 14-26. Contact the library to schedule an interview time and pick up pre-interview paperwork.

This program is developed pursuant to a Library Services and Technology act grant administered by the Illinois State Library using funds provided by the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services.

For more information, or to register, visit the library or call 309-524-2470.
