Program Description

Body

In celebration of the Maurice Sendak exhibit, the Friends of the Moline Public Library Foundation have made arrangements for all Moline library patrons to receive free access to the Figge for one week between June 10 – 16.

The comprehensive exhibit debuted in 2013 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the universally revered book, “Where the Wild Things Are.”  Since then, it has toured select venues throughout the United States and will be at the Figge through August 12.  This retrospective exhibition of original works includes items from sketches to illustrations, and showcases highlights from Sendak’s career.  Please present your Moline Public library card for admission during regular business hours.
