Learn how to knit with Carolyn Krueger, owner of The ARTery, and in the process make a trinket to take home. This two part class series (Tuesdays, February 18th and 25th) is open to teens and adults. Attendees will learn the basics of knitting, such as:

  •     Holding the yarn and needles
  •     Making a slip knot
  •     Casting on
  •     Making a knit stitch
  •     Binding off

Participants are encouraged to bring their own pair of knitting needles. The knitting needles can be any size between US 8-12. The library will have some knitting needles available for the class. Yarn will be provided.

Registration is required as space and supplies are limited.
