Program Description

Body

Artability visual art creation four part series that will be offered  over four Thursdays in September led by Art Therapist and Instructor, Sarah Robb and will offer participants opportunities to:

1.  Paint individual tiles which will be placed into an overall tile mosaic composition

2.  Design tree silhouettes using leaves

3.  Create two abstract art and ink paintings, one using straw blowing technique and the other with a shaking powdered tempera paint method

4.  Students will have life size silhouette outlines drawn and with paint, ink and paper create their vision of what they look like

At the conclusion of the project series, student work will be on display at a public art show and reception hosted in the library’s meeting room and gallery area on Saturday, Oct. 20th from 3-4:30 p.m.
