Dressed in her native regalia, Kim will give a history of Natives in Illinois with a focus on Native women, or what was considered “The Hidden Half,” focusing on such figures as Singing Bird (Blackhawk’s wife), and Hononegah.

Kids will learn new hand sewing techniques to make this super cute and squishy wrist stuffie! These soft bunnies are easy and fun to make, are an amazing fashion statement, and can be perfect for gift-giving during the holiday season!

Teens in grades 6 through 12 are invited to a Nailed It! decorating contest. Try your hand at decorating a cookie and cupcake for a chance to win a prize! 

The State Treasurer is holding more than 5 billion dollars in unclaimed funds for Illinoisans. The State holds these lost funds until they are claimed by either the original owner or their heirs.
