Santa is coming to the Moline Public Library and The Java Lab Grind & Dine Cafe! Join us for games, crafts, activities, cocoa, and the opportunity to tell Santa you've been good this year!

For children K-5th grades. Explore a different STEAM theme each week. A great opportunity for adults to share with their child the fun of learning. 

String art enthusiast, Mindy Mathews from High Strung by 3M, will guide participants in creating their own beautiful decorative string art piece to take home just in time for the holiday season. Supplies are provided. 

Tweens and teens in grades 6 through 12 are invited to join the Moline Public Library’s Teen Advisory Group. Make new friends, give advice about programs and materials for teens, and earn service credits.

Help us knit/crochet blanket squares over the winter months. Blanket squares will be used to make complete blankets which will be donated to our Project Linus chapter.

Students in grades 4 through 10 can learn to sew using sewing machines and hand-stitching at the Moline Public Library. Create lap blankets and lap quilts to donate to a nursing home. Learn the basics on November 14 and 18 at 6:00 p.m.

Write Now! is open to teen and adult writers of all genres and writing levels. Meetings take place on the first and third Mondays at 6:00 p.m. in the Moline Public Library 2nd floor program room.

This introductory series will teach students in grades 4-10 with little or no previous experience with robotics how to program motorized LEGO robots to perform basic tasks using LEGO Mindstorms EV3 kits.

For children birth to 3 years old with their adult.
