In celebration of MLB's 2021 Opening Day view a facsimile of Babe Ruth's first contract, courtesy of  the Karpeles Manuscript Museum and Library collection.

99 years ago, this  American League Baseball deal transferred Babe Ruth from the Boston Red Sox to the New York Yankees for three years.
