Tweens and Teens in grades 5 though 12 are invited to Teen Time Plus: Sewing. This month, we are hosting a Cosplay Workshop! Have a costume you've been wanting to work on, but not sure how to start? Or maybe you just want to learn how to copy the pattern you found onto fabric? Bring your projects or works-in-progress to the library and learn the basics of sewing machines so you can learn to make your own cosplay! You'll learn tips and tricks to get started, and tons of information to take home and expand your skills!
While you do not have to arrive right at 3:30 to participate, it is recommended you arrive as early as possible to have time to complete the project. Registration requested. All supplies provided.
Funding for Project Next Generation is provided by the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services to the Secretary of State/Illinois State Library under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA).
Please note:
Any person with disabilities who wishes to attend an event and requires a special accommodation should notify the Moline Public Library (see Contact Info on this page). Please contact the Library at least 24 hours in advance.
