Program Description

Body

Project NOW, Executive Director, Dwight Ford, will be leading our community forum conversation this month focused on topics discussed in our last month’s book “Concrete Rose” by Angie Thomas. Our guests will include Darren Southwell, a Detective with the Special Investigative Group at the Moline Police Department, and two former gang members, Tony Rogers and Jaime Nuci who is now a suicide, addiction, and gang prevention street specialist. Please join us for this special forum.

Our book club community forums feature professionals from the community who work in the fields most aligned with the topics of our previously read book, in order that we may learn more about these important issues and how they affect our Quad City community.

Please note:

Any person with disabilities who wishes to attend an event and requires a special accommodation should notify the Moline Public Library (see Contact Info on this page). Please contact the Library at least 24 hours in advance.
