Program Description

Body

Learn about animal biology, behavior, and habitats through the dissection of a fetal pig. This event may use sharp scalpels, and participants younger than 12 will need an adult to handle this for them. No one under the age of 12 will be allowed to use a scalpel. 

This program is part of the Project Next Generation grant and is open to students in grades 5-12. Please register for only one session.

Funding for Project Next Generation is provided by the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services to the Secretary of State/Illinois State Library under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA).
