Join us for this performance of local singer/guitarist, Paul Cioe. This performance of folk music and other old favorites will also feature a selection of antique and vintage guitars from Paul's collection.

Paul Cioe taught English, folklore, and journalism at Black Hawk College in Moline and WIU in Macomb for 25 years.  These days he keeps busy writing short stories and playing folk, country, classic rock and standards in nursing homes, schools, and coffee shops. A few of his originals, like Jazzman Blues, The Ballad of Flat Stanley, and Decoration Row, plus his cover of Neil Young’s This Old Guitar can be sampled on his YouTube page under the screen name SaulPioe.

A chapbook with two of Paul’s stories, titled “Memory Care,” is available from Blue Cubicle Press.  He lives in Rock Island, Illinois.
