Cold weather is coming! Let’s come together and do all we can to ensure that no one has to be without warm winter gear or personal care items through the upcoming months. Join Moline Public Library as we show our care for our community through donations to our local shelters.

Donations can be dropped off in the bins in the library lobby and are welcome throughout the month of October! Please give what you can.

 

This is who we are collecting for this year and what they are requesting :

  • Bethany for Children and Families : child & adult sizes - gloves/mittens, socks, winter hats
  • Christian Care : deodorant, shampoo, shower gel/soap
  • Project NOW : warm winter clothes
  • The Third Place QC : blankets, gloves, hand warmers, hats, thermal underwear, winter coats for adults
  • YouthHope : child & adult sizes - gloves/mittens, winter coats, winter hats, headbands, & earmuffs (new items only please)
