Join us to learn about the history, cultural significance and application techniques of henna from local artist, Ranjani Gopikrishna. Classes offer hands-on instruction in the traditional art of applying henna designs to the skin.
Henna, also called as "Mehandi," refers to the application of henna paste on the skin, typically in intricate designs, for decorative or ceremonial purposes. It's a form of body art that has been practiced for centuries in various cultures, particularly in South Asia, the Middle East, and North Africa.
