Join the Moline Public Library for a walking tour of Sylvan Island. Dr. Norm Moline will guide participants through this unique park, pointing out notable features of the island's industrial past, including its Republic Steel years, and current recreation opportunities and challenges.

Patrons should meet at the entrance of the bridge to the island by 10:00am. Participants should wear walking shoes, dress appropriate for the weather, and may wish to bring a water bottle.

Space is limited and registration is required.
