Body
Self-expression is a superpower! Artists in Grades 6-12 - create a piece of artwork that celebrates your uniqueness as part of the Teen Summer Art Contest.
Photography, digital art, painting, fabric arts, collage, sculpture - use your imagination to express yourself in the medium of your choice! Your piece could be a self portrait or anything that showcases your individuality and says something about YOU!
Submissions accepted June 1st - 29th.
Artwork or photographs of artwork will be displayed for voting in the library. Bring your piece to the second floor information desk to submit online here.
Pieces brought in to the library should not contain any perishable or toxic items and should fit on a 12 in x 18 in base.
Voting begins July 3rd and ends July 15th.
Winners announced July 17th on the Moline Library Teens blog at https://molinelibraryteens.wordpress.com/
Winners will be decided by popular vote, and prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners.
Submitted pieces must be picked up by end of the day on Saturday, August 12th.
