Please join MPL and Project NOW for an evening of discussion on the state of poverty in the Quad Cities.

Our discussion titled, Unacceptable: It Doesn't Have To Be Like This!, will be led by Project NOW Executive Director, Dwight Ford and feature topic specialists from Project NOW :

  • Community Services Director, Ron Lund
  • Head Start Director, Andrea Flannery
  • Senior Service Director, Michelle Dyer

This forum is a follow up to our January read Poverty, By America by Matthew Desmond. If you'd like to check it out, copies can be requested through PrairieCat. BUT you don't have to read the book to join the discussion! We hope to see you there!
