Joann DeWitt and the Fishermen's Holler Concert

Joann DeWitt and the Fishermen's Holler Band play bluegrass tunes.  Bluegrass music vocals frequently reference hard-scrabble existence living in Appalachia and other rural areas with modest financial resources, narrating the everyday lives of the people.

Members of the band, playing an old upright bass, guitar, banjo, Dobro and mandolin,. are Joann DeWitt, Casey DeWitt, Bob Stith, Darryl Damitz, and Dena Cocquit with sound man, Brian Linville.

The free, hour-long concert, open to all ages, is sponsored by the Friends of the Moline Public Library Foundation.
