Create a diorama inspired by the Summer Reading theme: Beyond the Beaten Path. Nature, space, something totally unique - anything you can think up!
You can also join us for Creativity Lab on June 9th at 6 pm to create or work on your piece, if you would like!
Contest Rules
Enter your piece into one of four divisions: Family, Preschool & Kindergarten, Grades 1-3, Grades 4-6.
Entries due Thursday, June 30th. Enter by bringing your diorama to the Children's Desk with your name, title, division, and phone number attached.
Your piece's base should be 12 in. x 18 in. or smaller. Use any non-perishable, non-hazardous items.
Dioramas will be on display for voting in the Children's Department July 6th - 16th.
Winners of each category will be chosen by popular vote and announced on our blog on Monday, July 18th.
Winning dioramas will be on display through July 31st. Non-winning entries may be picked up after July 18th. All entries must be picked up by August 14th.
